“I grew up in Kolkata, my younger sister and I went to an Anglo-Indian school, which although quite strict was still a lot of fun. Those golden years of high school taught me quite a lot, mainly prepared me to face the difficult challenges I’d face in the future. My parents have always been my greatest supporters and I’m so grateful for that. They never held me back from trying something out, instead always encouraged me to chase every dream I had.
Growing up my dad told my sister & I “If you know how to cook, make sure you also know how to replace a light bulb and fix a flat tyre. You need not ever stick to the social construct the society has created for women.” Every little girl needs to hear these words. Women are capable of extraordinary wonders and we need to make sure every woman is aware of the potential we possess.
Throughout the 4 years I’ve spent at Fitkids, I have gained so much knowledge and insight that it has completely transformed my personal and professional life both, and for that I’m eternally grateful for this company!” - Anushree Nandy, Assistant Manager - Human Resorces.
