Many, many studies show that just a single exercise bout improves blood sugar control. One study found 36-hours if fasting improved a range of immune and metabolic metabolites. This study found that just six, 30-minute exercise sessions over the course of two weeks significantly improved glucose control and mitochondrial metabolism. A study I mentioned in the 2014 version of Belly Fat Effect was how within 48 hours of Bariatric surgery, insulin dependent type 2 diabetics no longer needed insulin. With more data emerging suggesting blood sugar imbalances predispose us to getting ravaged by this virus, the message needs to shift that we ought to be proactive, now! ✔️Tricep Workout . For triceps I generally do about three intense and high rep workouts. Keep in mind that your triceps are constantly being activated by most chest movements you perform! . •4 x 12 Seated tricep pushups with weights - This is a perfect movement to activate your triceps. Make sure to go down at a 90 degree angle. Squeeze your triceps while performing the pushing movement and you’ll feel that burn 🔥 •4 x 12 Resistance band tricep pull down extensions - I love using the resistance band for triceps as it improves strength, muscle definition, and stability. Once again, it is best to squeeze the muscle as you have pulled the band as far down as possible! •4 x 10 (each arm) Seated dumbbell tricep extension - Make sure to keep your elbows locked while performing this exercise as that will provide the best activation for the tricep. . . - exercise can be bliss, it can be freedom and power, it can be a self-discovery journey... it shows us the limits our mind puts on our bodies. yes, it is also hard, sometimes frustrating, but there is nothing quite like moving your body, stretching it, sweating it, pushing it to places you didn't think it could go. our mind and bodies are so much stronger than we think they are. every day I am grateful for a new sweat. I am happier, and mentally and physically stronger because of it 💪 . lately, my repertoire includes workouts by @fitbykit , @shaunt , @yogaglo , @caroafroyoga , @ryan.heffington , @popsugarfitness , and also just the plain old jumprope.
